The Academy's Undercover Professor

No one knows his true name or face, but he has gained global notoriety under many aliases—from Gerrard to Machiavelli. His newest identity is that of Ludger Cherish, a young and talented professor at the prestigious Ceoren Academy. However, what seems like an easy teaching job turns out to be anything but. The original Ludger Cherish was far more than he appeared, entangled in a secret society with unclear motives. Doing whatever it takes to protect his identity, the man of many faces must walk a tightrope between two opposing groups that would kill him at the slightest slip-up.

Machiavelli and Gerrard are just one of the many names the new professor of Ceoren Academy uses to disguise his identity, and now he can add one more to his list, Professor Ludger Cherish. The real Ludger Cherish dies on board a train during a terrorist attack, making him the perfect target for a new identity. Little does the new professor know, Ludger Cherish was involved in something deep and secret. The new Professor Ludger has to be careful to not get caught by the school and the dangerous secret society. I wasn’t reborn with talent or ability, but at least my knowledge from earth allowed me to stay one step ahead in this other world. Magic exists here, and new progress was rapidly being made in science while magic stagnated in the name of tradition. Using my earthly knowledge and not bound by the traditional thinking, I was able to do things other wizards couldn’t even imagine. Still, inadvertently becoming an undercover professor for a mysterious secret society at the renowned Sören academy was never in my to-do list!
